Join Us for the STRENGTH for the journey 5K benefiting Survivors of Suicide Loss!

Saturday, June 13th at Your Road Runner Sports Store in San Diego

5553 Copley Drive, San Diego, CA. 92111

Check In: 8:00am, STRENGTH for the journey 5K: 9:00am

We named this run "STRENGTH for the journey" because we can create positive change from highly stressful events.

Life is difficult, and sometimes terrible things happen, but we are strong, and we can endure suffering that can eventually lead to meaningful developments of character. Psychologist call this phenomenon Post-Traumatic Growth.

After loss, grief, or other trauma, often people develop a strength they have never known. Many also develop a newfound depth of compassion, the ability to better cope with minor struggles, and deeper gratitude for the gifts of life and love.

Join us to honor STRENGTH for the journey!

Your participation helps us to be able to support our community of people who have lost a loved one to suicide and to advance suicide prevention efforts in San Diego.

About Survivors of Suicide Loss:

SOSL supports people who have lost a loved one to suicide. Our goal is to give survivors a place where they can be comfortable expressing themselves, a place to find support, comfort, resources and hope in a judgment-free environment.

If you or a loved one needs support, please visit www. SOSLsd.org.

If you or a loved one is in crisis, call the 24/7 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at (800) 273- TALK (8255).

You are not alone. Help is available.
