About Best Buddies:

Best Buddies Arizona is a vibrant nonprofit organization dedicated to providing friends and mentors to middle and high school age youth with developmental disabilities. Best Buddies International was founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver and the organization has grown from one original chapter to more than 1,500 middle school, high school, and college campuses across the country and internationally. Our six formal programs – Best Buddies Middle Schools, High Schools, Colleges, Citizens, e-Buddies and Jobs – positively impact more than 300,000 individuals.

We will be running for inclusion, friendship and acceptance - thank you for taking this step with us! 100% of the proceeds will go to our 4th Annual Friendship Walk to help us reach our goal of $60,000. 100% of the money raised goes right back to our schools, the friendships and the vision of a fully inclusive world.
